Offline:
I have been offline, and will stay offline for next next one or two years - if nothing dramatic happens (or until I can afford an Apple iBook - which will be in one or two years). My CPU died and I'm not willing to buy a new CPU because I've already paid more for replacement hardware, than what I paid for the original setup (and then there is no reason to invest in a x86 system anymore). I have just installed PyDS on my 133mhz Laptop to post this message, using it on this system is a pain. First there is no modern browser working on this machine, and secondly it takes about 3 minutes just to launch PyDS, taking another 3 to load the main server page in the browser and finally I only have about 50mb diskspace left on this 2gb disk... also no good. Using the "links" browser to find new photography pages is also hopeless. I'm trying to find a solution, but right now this is it. (I own a copy of the ExpressionEngine, but customizing it on this system will also be days of work) |
